The Center for Student Involvement & Leadership, in partnership with many student organizations and UI departments, hosts multiple annual events that aim to celebrate students, embrace diversity, and honor University traditions. Several annual events, like Homecoming, are long standing traditions at the University of Iowa. Regardless of the celebration, students are encouraged to attend, participate, or even help plan many of these events to help connect to campus and enrich their time at the University of Iowa.
The event each February has raised over 24 million dollars for children fighting cancer at The University of Iowa Stead Family Childrenâs Hospital. FTK!
Student Involvement Fair
Getting involved on campus is very important to student success. But, where do you start? The answer is at the Student Involvement Fair!
Family Weekend provides opportunities for students and their parents/families to spend time together enjoying campus-based activities and events. There are numerous events and activities, a game day breakfast, and Hawkeye sporting events for all members of the family to enjoy.
Celebrate Hawkeye spirit during Homecoming. Filled with tradition, Homecoming brings events and activities ending with a great game at historic Kinnick Stadium.
