The Old Capitol Museum will be host to the 2019 National History Day Grant Wood District Competition and we need volunteer judges! February 23rd is the last day to apply - sign up today!
NHD in Iowa is looking for volunteer judges to help evaluate student projects and create a positive experience for Iowa's young historians. Judges will receive online training prior to the contest along with a free breakfast, lunch and snacks. Judges do not need prior experience and will be paired with a veteran judge at the contest. The NHD district competition will be held Saturday, March 16, 2018, in the Old Capitol Museum and neighboring campus buildings on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City. This year’s theme is Triumph & Tragedy in History.
