Student Activities Center (SAC)

The Student Activities Center (SAC) is located in Room 260 of the Iowa Memorial Union. This space is designed for activity, collaboration, and conversation! It is NOT a quiet space. The space provides flexible seating, a small computer lab, a "Chalk Talk" space, a media-scape table, craft table, TV with comfy seating, and storage cabinets.  The space is a great place to hold casual organization meetings or work groups.

Registered student organizations in good standing can apply for storage cabinet space in the Student Activities Center during the spring semester. Information is sent to organization representatives regarding application deadlines and processes via email and an application is posted on OrgSync in March.

Spot checks are conducted by the SAC Space Committee twice each semester to be sure the storage cabinets are being utilized.
